I've always been drawn to team sports — there's something about working together toward a shared goal that resonates with me, both on and off the field.
Growing up in the southern part of India, cricket was everywhere. I played it all through my childhood — from dusty street games with tennis balls to proper matches on cricket grounds. It was more than a sport; it was how we spent every evening and weekend.
Moving to Belgium didn't change that. I still play regularly with local friends across Wemmel, Antwerp, and Mechelen. The pitches and weather may be different, but the love for the game stays the same.
